I believe the use of technology in education can be very beneficial. Technology allows us to communicate with others in ways unthought of years ago. It also allows us to have access to a world of research and ideas on the spot. The ability of classrooms to see primary documents instantly should not be minimized. Nevertheless, there is something to be appreciated in holding, reading or writing a paper document; as well as interacting face to face with a person in the same room. Students, now, are experienced in the use of technology regardless if we use it the classroom or not. I do not believe technology is the end-all be-all in education, and as such the use of technology should not be forced but should be used whenever it can enhance the learning process. So, it is the responsibility of the teachers to expose students to the constructive and responsible uses of technology.
